When we meet Zahra at the assessment arena, she has chosen the place where the light falls correctly on her notebook. While others approach with questions, she keeps working on the patterns she can see.
That first impression matters. She is not waiting for Afolabi's story to give her a purpose. Her concentration, boundaries and curiosity are already in motion. Knowledge draws people toward her; she decides how much of herself to give them.
